The Ars Electronica Festival is an annual international showcase of the most innovative and prominent works in digital arts and new media, taking place in Linz Austria. IL(L) Machine, Ars Campus 2013 exhibition, presented works by artists associated with nine leading Israeli academic institutions (Curator: Yael Eylat Van-Essen, initiator, and creative director: Lila Chitayat).

The exhibition and its visual identity examine the new relations between automated procedures performed by machines to “real life”. They highlight transience as a recurring ingredient in Israeli artists’ approach to innovation.
