The poster is a take-off on a poster for an art exhibition that took place in the Vilnius Ghetto in April 1943. One day after the exhibition ended, 4,000 Jews from the small ghettos in the Vilnius district were killed in Ponar (Paneriai) instead of being transported to the Kaunas Ghetto as promised by the security police.
